OUT OF STOCK [TEMPORARY PHOTO] Edward Gorey Dracula and Lucy Matted Laser Cell In 1977 Edward Gorey was hired to create the set and costume design for the Broadway revival of Dracula (for which he won a Tony Award for Best Costume Design along with a nomination for Best Scenic Design). This amazing Dracula and Lucy Hi- Definition Laser Cel features Edward Gorey’s interpretation of these characters. This print is comprised of one cell (Lucy) on top of another (Dracula), giving it a stunning 3-D effect! Laser Cels are a lithograph technology where the image is actually printed on industrial grade Mylar. Unlike traditional animation cels and paper; Mylar will not fade, chip, crack or deteriorate. Additionally, this synthetic is immune to heat, light and moisture. However, similar to its counterparts, images printed using this process still retain the same high quality and brilliant colors found in any animated cell. To complete the presentation and further define each piece as collectible, the Laser Cell prints will each be mounted in a complimentary mat. Great care was taken to faithfully retain the qualities of the artwork, and this print was produced with the permission of the Edward Gorey Charitable Trust. The image has been printed on specially treated Mylar and matted with a buffered acid-free matboard. Matted dimensions are 8" by 10", and the image size is 5.625" by 7.625".
